James Suckling My Top 100 Tuscan Wines in 2014 , 23 September 2014

Duemani, Duemani 2011

Score:96

This is layered and beautiful with dark berry, hints of chocolate and hot stones. Full body with beautiful clarity, density and depth of fruit. 18 months in new wood, then in cement. A beautiful, focused red. Better in 2018 but a joy to taste now.

Duemani, Syrah Suissasi 2011

Score:95

Lots of dried and grilled meat with dark fruits. Dark berries, too. Full body with a spice, meat, berry and black-pepper character. Flavorful finish. This was fermented for 18 months in open barrels. Biodynamically grown grapes. Drink now or hold.

Duemani, Altrovino 2012

Score:94

This is so beautiful and subtle, with flowers, berries, minerals and licorice. Full body with ultra-fine tannins and a long, long finish. Eight months in new wood. A refined, beautiful wine. From biodynamically grown grapes: Demeter-approved. Drink now or hold.
