Our winter pruning is performed between the end of January and the month of February while the vines are in their dormant stage. The aim of this practice is to reduce the yield of each plant and thus enhance the concentration, complexity and ultimate quality of the remaining grapes.

The eventual yield on each vine is 6 to 8 bunches on our guyot-trained Merlot and Cabernet Franc and 5 to 6 bunches on the alberello-trained Syrah.
