Deleafing

Our vineyards are fortunately situated in a zone that provides excellent and ample ventilation and sunshine. As a consequence the vines require little to no deleafing or thinning. We allow the vines to follow their natural path towards a balanced maturity and development. During the period from May until August each shoot requires careful monitoring to ensure maximal sun exposure and proper growth patterns. We are constantly passing through the vineyards rows throughout these months to carefully place and tie the developing shoots between the trellising wires in order to offer them support as they reach towards the source of their nourishment, the sun.
