We apply a series of organic and biodynamic preparations to the vineyard at intervals between April and August to promote soil vitality and encourage microbiologic diversity and activity. Treatments include minimal quantities of copper and sulphur, preparations of stinging nettles and the flower heads of chamomile and horsetail plant.

Following pruning we treat the vine stems with a disinfectant preparation of whey and compost “Maria Thun”. Other biodynamic applications include macerated cow horn fertilizer and a mixture of ground quartz (silica) packed in a cow’s horn; all aimed towards delivering vital nutrients, vigor and energy to the soil, vines and grapes
