About Us

The beginning

Our Story

The pioneering spirit of the project transforms the unique characteristics of the land into a source of strength: the scent of the sea caressing the hills, and the trials and triumphs of each season.

True to its vision, Duemani is a choice, not merely a winery.

Our Philosophy

Within the holistic approach of biodynamic viticulture, Duemani acts as a neutral conduit between cosmic energy and the vines, facilitating and enhancing the connection between these two elements without undue interference.
Man acts as a bridge between the cosmos and the earth: Duemani’s approach is based on three concepts: creativity, interpretation and respect.
Our viticulture

The breath of the earth transformed into wine.

In the vineyard, every task is carried out by hand, at the right time of year and at the right moment.
We are constantly attuned to the weather: the libeccio, mistral and sirocco winds dictate the pace of our work, whilst medicinal herbs and flowers sown between the rows protect and enrich biodiversity. All activities in the fields follow the lunar calendar, adapting human labour to the rhythm of the celestial phases.

In the Cellar
In the cellar, the same philosophy continues. The hand-picked grapes are carefully selected and guided through the natural fermentation process.
The various hillside vineyard plots, each with its own distinct character, come into their own during ageing – a time of natural harmony between the must and the wood, Tuscan terracotta jars, and tanks made of raw concrete or pottery shards. Natural, organic materials that help the wine breathe, keeping it at a steady temperature and allowing it to develop harmoniously.

In 2023, Duemani was acquired by Le Tenute del Leone Alato, a fundamental strategic step in line with the group’s mission. With its collection of unique, iconic, and high-end Tuscan wines, Duemani becomes the group’s sixth estate—an added value for Le Tenute del Leone Alato and a future growth opportunity for Duemani.
