From the encounter between the richness of Merlot and the balsamic notes of Cabernet Franc, Altrovino is born—a wine that tells the story of the Tuscan Coast. Full-bodied and vibrant, it evokes the Mediterranean scrub and the distinct minerality of its soils. The varieties ferment separately in temperature-controlled concrete vats, while a portion of the Cabernet Franc rests in terracotta amphorae, enhancing its floral and fruity nuances. The olfactory profile is deep and shimmering, with intense echoes of the Mediterranean scrub. On the palate, it is textural, marked by elegant balsamic returns and a freshness that sustains its perfect balance.
