Suisassi 2021

Syrah, the estate’s precious variety, finds its home in its most favored location, where it best expresses notes of myrtle, spices, and the vibrant salinity of the earth. This is the birthplace of Suisassi—a name that preserves the memory of a land once dominated by stones (sassi). Vinified as a 100% pure Syrah and aged for 22 months in French oak barriques, it offers a vibrant salinity that speaks of the soil from which it originates. On the palate, it is silky and enveloping, with finely expressed tannins that accompany an elegant and profound sip.
