The Company

Our territory

Wild and truth

In 2000, the founders of Duemani, Elena Celli and Luca D’Attoma, began searching for an ideal place to start cultivating their vineyards. As soon as they arrived in Riparbella and Castellina Marittima on the Tuscan Coast, they breathed in the scent of an ideal place in harmony with nature.

The choice of the Tuscan Coast was made to produce wines from their favorite grape varieties: Cabernet Franc, Syrah, and Merlot, and here the climate and soil are ideal for these varieties. The shape of the slope forms a characteristic amphitheater of vineyards, in an extreme location, with a predominance of clay and a strong presence of stones, uncultivated for years and surrounded by Mediterranean scrubland. It is a hill that smells of sea and forest overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea at an altitude between 200 and 300 meters. There is sun, light, and constant breezes that ensure good thermal excursions, essential for aromas and slow ripening, guaranteeing perfect balance. The choice, from the planting, was to cultivate in Biodynamic Agriculture to respect and preserve this unspoiled environment and enrich it with energy and vitality. The viticulture is meticulous, mainly manual or with small, lightweight tractors for soil work and the distribution of biodynamic preparations. The result is fragrant and flavorful grapes to produce clean, original, tasty wines, each with its own unique and recognizable character. Wines that must be remembered and enjoyed with joy.

In 2023, Duemani was acquired by Le Tenute del Leone Alato, marking a fundamental strategic step for strengthening the wine production hub. Le Tenute del Leone Alato considers Duemani an added value for promoting high-end Tuscan wines. This change offers Duemani a great opportunity for growth and achieving new successes, consolidating the value of the territory and the company itself within the Leone Alato Group, increasingly devoted to quality and sustainability in their productions.
